About us

The Croatian Ethnological Society is an independent association of Croatian ethnologists. Our aims are to promote ethnological science, to strengthen its position in society and to encourage and co-ordinate activities in all ethnological fields. The Society was founded in 1959, and has held the name Croatian Ethnological Society since 1975. The number of active members in 2005 is 128.
